  • Boys use to go to the toilets outside.
  • You weren't allowed to be in a car without your brother or your dad.
  • All the teachers were strict.
  • Teachers also had to follow rules.
  • Kids would be punished if they didn’t do what they were told.
  • In some classes you were not aloud to smile.
  • You weren’t aloud to wear a skirt that was two inches above your knees.
  • You were not aloud to smoke
  • Their schools were very small
2013:
  • We have computers
  • we do not get hit
  • We are allowed in the car without being with your dad and brother
  • Teachers skirts does not have to be 2 inches above your ankles.
  • Our teachers are very nice and they do not swear at us
  • We have white boards
  • We have pens
  • Our schools are very big
  • The classes are warm and have light
  • We learn many subjects
  • Our schools now have lots of books
  • Girls and boys work together

  • If children were late for school they had to write a hundred of lines on the chalkboard.
  • Children that were late to school were called tardy.
  • Children weren't allowed to smile when they took pictures.
  • If you wrote with your left hand you would get in trouble.
  • You were not allowed to walk down to the ice-cream shop.
  • You had to be home between 8:00pm-6:00am.
  • Kids weren't allowed to wear bright clothes.
  • The children’s biggest punishment was sitting girl, boy, girl, boy.

My Term 3 Goals and Term 2 Reflection

Term 2-3


Reading:
This term I learnt: How to read with a clear voice.


My reading goal for Term 3 is to practice how to read more slower.
To achieve my goal I will need to read for at least 20 minutes every day.
Writing:
This term I learnt how to hook people into my stories.


My writing goal for Term 3 is to write more paragraphs.
To achieve my goal I will need to practice my writing at least every week.
Maths:
This term I learnt how to do my 9’s times table.


My maths goal for Term 3 is to practice on how to divide.
To achieve my goal I will need to practise.
Personal:
This term I need to have to learn how to keep up with what I am doing.


My personal goal for Term 3 is to be even better at what I am working on.
To achieve my goal I will need to practice everything I need to.
